Good start, Just fill it up with content.

If you care to know, that if you want people to be able to search your site (yahoo. google),Also might want to add meta tags to help out with the searchs.

might not want to use images for the profiles of each member. unless you have alot of commented out fields behind it so spiders can pick up the text.

i feel sorry for the people who are on dial up, huge images for dial up. I would style the fourms to match the site when you get done with the site

just my 2 cents.
