They are 17's actually. The look bigger because the spokes go right to the tip.

Paint the calipers red, but do the drums in black.
Car's looking nice btw.

do you have to sand down the drums and calapiers to paint them, cause i have some 500 degree paint that i used to do my idi cover and i wanted to use that on them
Why do you suggest doing the drums black? Because drums are Gay? or another reason??
I will be either san blasting them or using a mini grinder.
rims look good. i didnt sand mine down. i just used the cleaner and an old bristle brush and the brush on paint kit for the drums/calipers, and the paint hasnt budged any.
i got the caliper paint kit at autozone and it has the cleaner, paint, and paintbrust to apply the paint. alot easier then spraying paint and having to cover everything!!!!! may sound chessy to some but it WORKS GREAT. one of the j's here sprayed his and after he saw mine he used the paint on kit too
Nice improvement.

It's up to you to decide which you'd rather win.
When you paint the calipers and drums, don't you remove them form the car? I read a how to and it explained how to do it with them still on, but that seems like more work..?
If you take them off, you can just spray them. I was planing on sand blasting them.... ?
When I did mine I left them on the car and just taped off what ever i diddn't want red and it was not that much work really and I think they turned out well. The calipers were done about a year ago......for the drums they just slide right off (with a little effort) and I agree to paint them black....
oh..and i diddn't sand them down either, I just used a wire brush to scuff them up and then wipe them to make sure they were perfectly clean.
I will probably be doing another couple of coats real soon
