"Official Jewish J-Body"
Yeah, looks like my HP's I bought over 2 years ago cept the top hats were chrome, not blue. High ass spring rates lol It was still very rough with my Koni's, but I could take turns like an F1 car haha
Needless to say, I feel like i'm driving a Cadallac now with the Goldlines <3
sure hope those ARE NOT the ebay coils, if so start savin up money to repair ur car in the near future
They are exactly that, cheap eBay coilovers.
You get what you pay for, and in your case you just bought a ton of headaches and death to the rest of your suspension.
Those are going to destroy your car, so what tips could I offer on not to? Research pays and had you
looked here you would not have bought those.
im glad i read this

wow i bought those hp ones when i was a noob, after i bought my car i thought "hey ill just buy springs to lower my car" i never did put them on, ive invested in a complete koni yellows kit since then
and the turns i take now... wowwweeee
Before you put those on or put any form of wear on them, find another poor sapp to sell those to. Trust me, you do NOT want to put those on your car, it will be the biggest downgrade you could possibly do to your suspension. Sell them immediately, or even better try to return them, but whatever you do, don't put them on your car. The ride will be so bad, that I promise you will even feel the shadows on the street.

the fact that you spelled my like a 12 year old girl on her xanga says alot. the fact that you baught those springs says the rest
i have dropzone coils and they've been on the car for 2 and half years... still riding like a champ.
I used to have those back in the day...they sucked really bad. Blew out my struts
I later went with the Eibach Sportlines and Koni Yellow Struts - best suspension I've felt.
Goodluck though man.

I was under the impression you dont need a spring compressor for coilovers? Am I wrong?
you still need one to remove the factory springs, go buy a spring compressor at Autozone or Advanced Atuo parts, they are less than $30.
I bought DROPZONE coilovers off eBay a few years back, they never came, and the guy finally sent me some R1 coilovers, yes they are rough, but my struts are fine, and the are still working.
hey man, like everyone said, DON'T put those on your car, but if you feel the need to, there is a way you can do it without a spring compressor but i don't know if i would recommend it, you can have some one sit on your car to compress the spring on a certain side and quickly throw on the spring clamps.
just a suggestion, thought it might help

^^ also next time you try to make fun of someone because they can't spell, you should try spell check
LOL i was JUST going to say that! that was too funny.
Sorry can't really listen to you guys on this one, My friend Justin, and Trevon both have these exact same things on their cars.. Justin 01 cavalier had them since he got the car, and no squeeks or nothing, his struts and all his @!#$ is great.. So, therefore instead of reading what ya'll had going to try and do it and find out for myself.. Trevon blew a tire but that wasn't the coilovers fault.. And he has had his on for 1 year and a half now.. So, I can't really judge ya'lls experience I will judge my own and if it bites me in the ass than atleast I know I made my own choice... But as far as other peoples who live here they are fine... =D.
well then....you have fun with those!
In that case, do yourself a favor and buy a neckbrace and some Tylenol, and prepare to be embarrassed everytime you have passengers, especially with women. But hey, your car, whatever floats your boat. I myself had those same crap coilovers when I was in high school, and it was a huge mistake. Its devaluing your car with cheapo savabuck products, and you will spend more in the long run. But whatever mang, don't say we didn't warn you.

Another typical cheap ass j-body owning kid that knows it all, and doesn't understand a safe suspension.
Just because your friends are ricers, doesn't mean you have to be
...............
Do you realize those coils are not even engineered for our cars? Why wouldn't you want to hurt your car? Most J owners on this site treat their cars like gold. Its not a matter of "if" you get bitten in the ass, you WILL. You can't say that you have the satisfaction of knowing you made your own decision if you get bitten in the ass because you already have that satisfaction as soon as the decision is made. Punk high school kids mess things up the first time and then endanger everybody else on the road...
LOL!! Good Luck dude.
The only thing that could make your ride any better with those coils is if you are using your OE struts...
