Getting the type J front Installed
Tuesday, April 19, 2005 8:28 AM
Well over the weekend I went to illinois and picked up this bumper from another .org member. so on sunday me and a couple friends had a couple things to do on our cars so we had a lil wrench day. currently I am in the process of fabricating brackets for the middle of the bumperat the top so dont have the huge gap between the headlights and bumper. becuase I bought it used so it didnt come with the brackets or the instructions. I made one bracket out of a 1"x6" piece of steel using a hammer to make the right angles. it actually turned out really good. now i need to make 3 more when i get home. So the fitment should be fixed when i get home tonight. I will get more pix after i put the brakets on.

it actually doesnt line up too bad with the stock sides. looks alot better than i was expecting. It should be finished tonight or tommarow depending on what time i get outta work. I will post more pics later

Very nice! The car looks like it has bags unders it's eyes. After you get that braket give it some R&R cause it looks tired. Keep it up man.

yeah actually the paint matched PERFECT.. the only thing that sucks is that we cracked the paint on the bottom in transportion. its just a small spot but the underside of the bumper actually has quite a few scrapes from getting bottomed out. i have to get my passenger door painted anyway. im gonna have my buddy who goes to LCC (same place OneBadZ24 goes to school) is gonna paint it this summer. prolly the whole car.

the tails are dull man you need to shine them up and they would look good either that or you can buy my c/f tails

Didn't Brian sell his Sunfire? If so who bought it ?

Front looks good, lines up amazingly nice with the stock LS Sport bumper/sides.

Man I like it.

I took the pics and shopped up some hood evil eyes like the Sunfires have. Do they make that for the 03's anywhere? That would look sweet.
