Where did you get that floor bar? And what exactly is it called?
Portage, MI
Did you add the black elbow on that intake???
It looks like something from Home Depots pluming section???

Floor Bar in my opinon does nothing at all i think the only thing it does is takes all the room out of the back seat. But they kinda look cool not my taste but if you like it more power to you.. Other then that car looking good man keep up the good work. also what did that alternator run you?

As far as the floor bar I agree with Meth. I dont think it does anything suspension wise (I think the increase was in the strut bar) but the floor bar just looks nice IMO. It matches the interior perfect and actually added alot to it! And I will no be attaching my harnesses to it. I will be putting the harnesses on the rear deck or the back seat bolts or on a roll cage if I decide to get one also.
As for the intake... Yes the black section is a plumbing elbow! Yes your typical breather goes on the valve cover. But this was a civic intake that I had got. I will be replacing the intake and cleaning up the engine bay more before my first show this season. My current intake is going into my civic and a real cavy intake will be put it!
As for the alt... My friend works at pep boys and it was given to me free since I am getting a body kit real cheap for him. My current one works but seems to be struggling a little bit. This is supposed to be a high output so I will see how it works.
Thanks for the comments and keep em coming. Also I will post some wide body and body work progress soon since it is finally getting warm out and I can begin molding and everything! 2005 is looking good for me!
Does that bar rub the throttle body??
Where did you get the floor bar from?
Portage, MI
ebay has like a buttload of them.
see
I think that Bosch alternator is a heavier duty 105 amp output, which is what the stock one puts out. Still a good alternator, but I dont think its high output. Nice goodies though, I really like your car man. Cant wait to see it finished.

Well I got the alt for a cavy with power everything hoping to gain a little. Plus Chris said it puts more out. Truefully i dont care but its new, free, and clean (unlike everything else in the engine bay)
No the bar does not rub. it has I would estimate about 3/4 of an inch clearance
That alternator was refurbished...
Looking good man!
but
... what kind of strut bar is that? My friend got something exactly like that and it wont even fit on mine due to the throttle body.

I have a slight feeling that nitrous bottle is just in there for looks, if so what a sad ricey waste. Send it to me and I'll use it how it should be.
