Body kit installed...too low? **PICS**
Sunday, April 10, 2005 10:12 AM
Well, basically I did a rough fit of the kit this past week and got it to the shop yesterday morning for eyelids and paint. Now I'm sort of in a dilemma:

Should I get a new set of gloss black/polished lip 18" Konig freefalls for the car, or the new Tein suspension so I can raise her up when I need to and save the kit? I'm very torn I know this probably isn't the right forum, so just enjoy the pics and shoot me some feedback if you feel like it!!!

Not sure if anyone has seen pics yet, but this' our new shop for the business. 40'x60', 25' ceilings, (2) 15' roll-up doors and heated concrete floors. Man I love it!!!

I vote wheels, to save the car, just my opinion. The car looks good other than that.

i got coilovers before i put my kit on or id never get out of our driveway. i think new wheels would help the look out allot. but wheels wont help the car if yoru body kit is all tore up.

Thanks for the feedback so far, guys! The car's main focus is towards performance (some big things are in the works for next winter) so shaved handles (safety-wise at the track) are not in my future...

If it helps anybody out, these are almost defintely the wheels I would be replacing the current R-Tech's with if I don't do a new suspension setup:

Looks hot!
I kinda like the wheels you have now, but those new ones are also wicked!
Id say leave the suspension and the wheels and put that money towards the engine if youre performance bound...

Those definitely are NOT 100's...wish they were, though!

Sad to hear so few people like the wheels on the car at the moment...I always liked the fact that they were original. Looks like they'll be leaving soon.

I live in Michigan, and I drive slammed with the Type-J, so you should have no issues. I did like the originality of the rims you do have though.

You know my thoughts on it bro.. .. I wish i would have had Adam snap a few shots of my car in the shop while we were putting my new suspension in. After day 2, i cannot belive how this thing rides......... nudge nudge...

Car is looking damn good Chris... but I say go with the Tein's... you know those rims look WAY better in person... no pictures do them justice... keep up the good work man, see you around this year...

weird...i alwats loved those wheels on your car. I love how you can't really see the lug pattern, it looks as if the rims are floating on there, IMO tein's no question. It'll ride better, and you'll love your car...keep those wheels!

I'd say keep the wheels - last time i saw your car was at the Syracuse show - the rims look better in person. Lov'en the body kit, cant wait to c it in person!!!

Chris i would go with suspension cause NY roads suck. The front of my kit needs major work to it or a whole new front end cause i wanted it to low.

As for the rims, there not hubcaps, lol!
