i think most people use that 1st step process anyways for trunk setups like that lol

I think he meant the MDF lower ring.

But anyways, The rear dowel rods were 15.5" straight up from the bottom of the enclosure (the spare tire well) I think when he put 6 he meant 16. And if I remember correctly the front dowels were 6-8" Keep in mind that all of the dowels were set about a half inch into the sub ring into drilled holes. Basically all you have to keep in mind is that the maximum height of your settup is less than the height of the base of the trunk opening to the top of the trunk opening. I belive that was like 17 or 18 inches. Good luck!!!

LOL, I talked to him, he did mean 16. I would just play around with different sizes, duct tape them into your lower mold and see if you can get the mold out without hitting the rod. lol thats what we did. Good luck with the project, post pics when done!

BTW: My bro can post cuz hes banned for having a big sig. lol
