Comso Intake update (56k warning)
Monday, April 04, 2005 5:58 PM
Last time I posted was when I installed the intake.
Well after the install my gas mileage sucked and when I took it to the track I was running constant 10.7-8 on the 8th when I would normally run 10.4-5. Well I took off the silly shiny filter and got myself a K&N filter (RX-4990), it sounds much better, gas is back to normal (almost) and last time I did a run I was running 10.2-3. I'm quite happy and I still paid less than I would most intakes. Now the old filter holds my lose coins on my desk.
Anyway since this is the Photos and media forum here are the pics.

ZFATAL4: Yes, and I properly lubricated it with the K&N recharge kit. The filter comes from cosmo Dry

Ryan: its cute that the filter on that matches to color with the tubing as well. But yeah looks alot better after fixing it especially after the stock plastic box is gone.
