Well okay guys, my latest project has been my interior over spring break, this is how it started last sat. after i got off work....
Everything gutted, gave the carpet a real nice cleaning, then put the essentials back in: Driver's seat, shift knob...
The first thing I tackled was velveting the door panels...
after that, I started on the headliner... I don't have any before, but it used to be tan.....ugh.
I masked off the cubby thing and painted it, then masked off a pontiac logo and two triangles on the dome light.
Here's a low-quality night pic of it on and with the lights on. yes the lights are red.
During this entire thing, while the adhesives were drying and curing, I was working mostly on my center console. Painted it black, red and white. Yes, i see the straw wrapper, no, it's not there anymore. You can also notice the door sills are black now.
While I was in that general area, i pulled out the front dash cover and gave it a few coats.
And, still up front, I did myself some clear HVAC knobs. Best free mod i ever did.
Then I headed in back to redo my rear deck. The only before pics i could find kinda suck, and the window is foggy in one, but you can get the general idea...
then i added some velvet and paint......
And that's been my week! I'm not even close to done, though. I'm ordering some black carpet when I get my next paycheck, then saving up for these bad boys:
After those, maybe i'll get my rear vinyl'd or leather'd to match, or possibly a rear-seat delete for when I get my subs, but then there's nowhere to make out in my car
I'm also going to buy some black vinyl to wrap my dash in, and i still need to get the glove compartment, steering column, and the driver's side under-dash painted.

awesome bro i noticed that u didn;t go with the sanding like most do...thats awesome, im going to be doing the samething, except white and black...i wanna keep the OE look of the dash, center consol and things like that....great work, so now just finish it and post up!!!
i did sand, just as usual procedure, but i like the texture of the OEM parts, so i didn't completely sand them out, just went over them with some 200 grit i believe, and that prepped the surface without ruining the texture. Thanks for all the comments guys, I'll be sure to post more when i get the carpet/vinyl. i also found some seats from APP for about $400 less than those in my previous post, so i may get those instead.

dirty elf- only reason i had time to do it was because I was on spring break... plus i was grounded, so i just had nothing better to do.

okay... little update... ordered carpet from APP last night, gonna order my racing seats tonight... yay
