I used my spring break to finally install the new bumper and side skirts that have been sitting inside for months. Pictures are
here under "bumper install". If anyone wants to post a few I'd really appriciate it, I've tried with no luck on several occasions. The skirts are from Razzi and Im still not sure about the bumper. Just a quick paint job to match, the whole car will be painted eventually. Any comments or suggestions are welcome, let me know what you think.
Well it is different. Watch out on those hot summer days sitting in traffic though. Do you think it might overheat any?
good luck getting the car not to overheat!
Yeah what front is that? Hope you cut an opening in that front.

Looks good, looks different, stands out from the crowd,... but like they all said. your gunna have heat issues
Not bad, looks like a stock 00+ with the RK lip kit molded to it
Hope it don't over heat though
WTF! I read all the replies before seeing the pics but DAMN I thought people were exagereating abit.... good luck in the heat, it looks good but it looks so impractical
Yeah, I handn't even thought about any heat issues, but I guess that is going to be a problem. Luckily, spring time in Colorado it hasnt gotten very warm at all yet. Any suggestions? I'd rather not cut into the front, that's what I liked about the bumper. Maybe some kind of an air dam along the bottom?
And like I said, I have no idea who makes the bumper. I bought it off an E-Bay auction, your guess is as good as mine, but it's definately one piece.
eh, most of the air hitting your radiator comes from underneath. just as long as you still have that black plastic strip under there
i like it
take out your radiator and mount it in front of the bumper, lol.

sitting in traffic, the nose being solid or not, it is going to get hot.
not all but alot of the cooling on these cars comes from the underside of the car. The lower air damn if you will. I think you will be alright, hell look at the 1993-1997 firebird and trans am, then look at the 1998 to 2002 firebird. the have no grille openings.
i think the cover looks awesome thought

Exactly what I was thinking. Just make sure your radiator is in good condition and you have plenty of coolant. That front looks bad arse though. Some evil eyes would really set it off.
i dunno i dont really like it

keep in mind they were designed to have a solid front, the fact that it does was taken into consideration when designing the car
winks that girl on your sig is freakin out hahhahhahahaa....show her @$$ hahahaa..
okay back to the car bumper thing...ummmmm...
same with majority of the people here...cooling issues..

Well frst off the bumper looks amazing, becaus it aint like anytthing els out there. Second offyou might have problems with heat, so whatt you do is the cooling fan ovride mood. and you ll have a switch from your cabin, so before the car even has a chance to overheat you can turn i on in the summer. or leave it on forever. but you miightgo through alot of fans.
heres a liink to wheere you need to go. to do the mod.

some eyelids really really set that bumper off kinda reminds me of a masked ninja lol
but looks good i`d just design a scoop setup to scoop up air into the radiator

Yeah Im thinking a scoop along the bottom may be the way to go. I'm also looking into some kind of an aftermarket fan setup, pull as much air in as possible. Thanks for all the comments.
