It was a Nice Day today....
Friday, March 25, 2005 4:35 PM
So I worked on my cavy.

My Grills Rusted due to the salt on the roads in the winter time

So I had to paint them, so I changed it up a bit and painted them black.

What do you think???

Buff it out with wax. You can always put it back on if you dont like it.
I say remove the badges! The blue bowtie sticks out like a sore thumb.

quick6: The Autometer Phantom Gauges is one of the higher priced Series. But I love the look of them. If you can/want to, eBay has the best prices for the Volt,Oil Press,A/F, Trans Temp gauges that I can find. I have to suck it in and get the my last 3 gauges (Speedo, Tach, Elec Fuel Press), it going to be like $1000CDN

Phewes & themarin8r : I will give that a try!! Thanks!

Did i hear this right? Autometer phantom gauges are the higher priced autometer gauges??? HAHA. Thats funny, i just spent 1200 on an autometer C2 5" tach w/ shift lite, Air Fuel, Water Temp, Boost, EGT, and Oil Psi, still have voltmeter, nitrous and ampmeter to get! So you need to realize that autometer phantoms are CHEAP compared to Cobalts, and Cobalt C2s! But yeah black looks good on silver. Peace out.

Thats why I said "higher" not MOST. The phantom are the next ones in line (I am about 85% Sure). For those gauges in phantom you would be looking at $1250CDN (just over $1000USD ).

Thanks!!
