I just thought i,d throw up some pictures of the progression of my 00 Cavalier. It is getting ready for the 05 show season. Hopefully winning some trophies this year.
I plan on shaving EVERYTHING off the car within reason.....(sorry i,m not shaving the rear windows off even though i have thought about it several times..lol) Is there anything else you reccommend i do
As of now here is the agenda.
-2-tone Custom Painted and designed.......(Orange and Blue) or (Blue and Green)
-Molded Side skirts (Done)
-Shaved Taillights (Done)
-Shave Antenna (Done)
-Shaved Door Handles (Done)
-Shaved Gas Lid (Done)
-Black Widow molded from a Honda Accord (In Progress)
-Konig 20" Chrome Tuner2s

-Lambo Doors!

You could shave the corner lenses. I was goin to do this, but changed my mind. I will also be shaving everything you did, i already did the trunk, and door handles and locks, and i will be doing the antenna, and the rest of the taillights soon. If you shave the CL then i would make it to where it has some type of curve in the edge that way its not just a straight line, and you can tell something is missing. With a curve over the side of the headlight it may also make it look like a eclipse headlight conversion. Good luck with car and the upcoming show season, its looking good so far.

It will rattle like a mo fo if you dont! got rid of mine when i got rid of my gas filler and antenna.
Well, it looks like the only thing left may be shave your face j/k. Is there anything else to shave? Keep us posted on the progress! Maybe I can get some ideas

Just curious where do you put the gas fill after you shave that door?
shave the piece that goes over the rear windows to the roof and rear quarter panel. altho its plastic, so that could get interesting....

Right on the top of the upper shelf under the trunk lid....There was a red cav that had it done recently....I,ve had the idea for awhile and it just worked!....Someone help me out on a link to the guy that just did this....

We are actually thinking about doing this to that C-pillar your talking about.....Taking off the plastic piece and making a Template out of metal and welding it into its place.....Then we are going to mold it into the body to make it look VERY SLEEK!

The vent, its under the bumper on the pass side, its in this pic:
right to the upper left of the cardomain logo
its just plastic yank it out and weld a filler panel right on top
Another idea not shaving but welding none the less is re-shapoe your Cpillar, the cavys have the thin one the fires have the large bottom, make your own shape then just have the window go under it or have the glass recut.... just an idea so your Sorta shaving it ya know

shave your turn signals and get rid off all your blinker fluid.
i would say mold the C pillar as stated above. Shave the Corner lenses and i think a good place to make a curved little "cover" part for the headlight is right with the curve of the chrome surrounding the headlights, know what i mean?
Most recent picture......All i have to say now is that car has a whole lot of ASS! Let me know what everyone thinks!
btw, the quarter panels were molded so that they come flush with the trunk when closed. When i got this car stock...The trunk and rear Panels didn't even come close to aligned when shut. Now it looks 100x smoother and more free flowing!
