did u fiberglass right over the vinyl mat??
9clrcav
sweet, cant wait to c it painted
I stripped all the vinyl off then sanded it down with some 60 grit for the fiberglass to have something to grab to. I layed down about 3 layers of glass and matting and then some body filler to fill in the imperfections. Sanded with 80 then 220. Then primered and block sanded with 400 then primered about 5 more time( I used filler primer to fill in some scratches). Then after that i wet sanded with 800 grit.
