I am all that is man
Coming from bags and going to springs it was tough at first to get used to the height.
But its growing on me more and more every day. THe ride is amazing on stock struts.
Not saying they will last forever but right now its great.
Ive road on most springs out there for Js and I think these are the best so far.
Ive never been on GOldlines. I was going to get them but I like how these keep the rear up a half inch higher. Im going to put some subs in back and I damn sure dont want the rear squating. I think the goldlines look squated.
BTW I got these on Ebay for $160 shipped

So you're on Stock Struts with those springs? I'm probably gonna go the same way, and now that I see the way you're sitting with it, me likes. (and yes, I expect a nice barrage from everyone telling me I better not use stock struts). Where'd you get your springs, just curious?
Brakes? I don't need no stinking brakes....I have air bags

I cant figure out what makes stock struts go with droped springs
Im a level 32 joedm newb flamer.
wheels look kinda out of place.. looks nice thou. must feel nice to be able to take corners now
NO!!!!! put the bags back on.....or...you could let me borrow em until that rainy day
looks good man
FEAR THE MINI
Dump the air in those struts!
The drop looks good but I love the way car looks when its laying on ground. But the car is still hot!

ebay huh? i might have to check that out. Your lucky u live in texas, i live in ohio and just picked up an avenger kit...my concern is once i drop it..whether its on those springs, sportlines, or whatever, that in the winter i wont be able to lift it back up and i'll mess up the kit, or at least the paint on the kit, bc of the snow and salt.....does anyone think i would or would i be safe? or should i go coilovers on stock struts this summer and next winter, then that spring get some different struts? i dont know what would be best for my car and weather conditions. thanks.
oh ane esb, i've always loved ur car...it was a big influence on my choice of getting the avenger kit rather than the type j. keep up the good work and keep the pics comin
u have easystreet front right..how much ull hook me up for man..
THanks for all the good comments.
Its nice to know my car was an influence on someone elses car. THats what its all about.
Here or some pics I took on Christmas eve. Last one I took of my car on bags.
First two are from Downtown Houston. It was a ghost town down there on Xmas eve.

Isnt it alot of snow

why u decide to ditch u were one of the reason i want air ride and am almost set on buying it this year well just ondering
Doesnt look to bad. Gonna miss all the pics of it laying on the ground though
Yeah im going to miss it also.
And posting those last pics just now isnt helping me.
Im loving the ride of the Teins. But man it just dosnt look near as good to me.
I think Im going to start doing my homework and find some struts that will allow me to have comfort in the rear with my bags.
In case some of you dont know I dont have the easystreet rears or anything else made for our cars. I simply mounted some reg bags out back with brackets I welded into place. THe stock strut location is left empty.
BUt the stock size strut will not compress enough to let me lay down all the way. It lifts it about an inch from what you see in those pics. And they would blow anyway.
So I will most likely have to buy some drop shocks used on bagged trucks and weld in some new upper mounts for them.

one more thing...how does everything handle, or how does it ride. granted your on stocker struts.....
still how does it feel?

another insite.. looking at both sets of pics... on the bags, the rear lip n shaved rear being close to the ground flows and it brings the car out totally.. where'as on springs, with that kit, its not doing it for me... for some reason...height in some cars/trucks does make a difference... some looks good up in the air n others was meant to be draggin ever so low
POISONCAVI what color blue is on that car in your sig????
