Yep, FINALLY after a long wait I got the video on my server since alot of people were asking for it.
This is the Video of me in the Sunfire racing a Cop down the street. More or less here is the story of how it all happened.
Oct 2003 I was in MI picking up my Sunfire since it was all done. I was going to be in MI for a few days since Oct 19th we were all going to go to the drag strip and race with about 20 J Bodies.....
The night before the track which would be Oct 18th the car was finally done. All the small stuff was done and the car was on street tires and 100% complete interior. A coupe of us took out our cars and went out to dinner. After dinner some people went home to get rest while the rest of us just started driving around and killing time... all of a sudden I get a 2 way from Brett SC 2000+ Cavalier asking if I have a baseball bat in my car.. I 2 way back asking while he says "Someone just hit my cavalier and ran" so more or less 5 cars start going after this one guy who did a hit and run on his car... after a while we gave me pulled over and called the cops.
20 min later 1 cop car shows up takes a report of everything and we just start BSing with the cop for like 20 min or so. He looks at my sunfire and sees it has out of state plates on it along with like 6 auto meter gauges inside and what not... askes whos car it is.. and I said its mine... he start asking questions about the car and so on so I answer and showed up the engine bay. Sees the direct port setup and everything.
He turns around and says "Why are you guys out here and not out street racing with your cars" my reply to him was.. "So people like you dont have a reason to give people like me a racing ticket and throw me in jail" he says.. "I only give tickets for 2 things, burned out headlights and registeration since I live 2 hours a way I dont have to go to court for those 2 tickets" so we all luaghed and he said.. "Come on lets go race" I asked "You sure you wont throw me in jail or give me a ticket" his like "yeah no problem just come on lets turn around line up at the red light and race"
With out even thinking or saying anything I was in the sunfire started the car and went busted a U Turn and lined up at the light with him. Light turns green and he smokes me off the line his got an aucto crown vic and I have my sunfire on street tires. I spin tires all in first gear and as soon as I go into 2nd gear I toast the tires again and I pass him. By the time I hit the end of 3rd gear I was doing about 90 MPH or so and went into 4th gear. By that time he had already high beamed me a few times so I slowed down and did another U Turn and came back. Everyone talked for another 10-15 min and he left and so did we.
I had no clue about the Video until Brett told me about it when we got back to his house... ever since then I have had the video on my lap top.. it was about 170 MB.. just this past weekend someone re sized the whole thing for me and cleaned it up for me so I could put it on my server.

The video is in AVI Format if it does not work on your computer then I am sorry..... its a little fuzzy at the start but once I am in 2nd gear you can hear my tires spin again and you see me go by the cop... if you turn up your volume you can hear the car spin tires all through first gear and 2nd gear...
The people you hear in the video are... Brett, Jeremy, Randy, Andy and I think someone else who I can not remember.......

BTW Street Racing is the Devil. DO NOT DO IT! That was the first time I did such a thing since about late 99 when I got my racing ticket. I have not done such a thing ever since either.... so please dont street race.....
