I have a chevrolet cavalier 1999 with P RND21 transmit ion, and i want a tach, i view today a z22 cavalier manual transmit ion, my question is, the manual cluster will fit in my automatic car ?

They are interchangable, although ive heard someplace they are year specific. not sure if it actually is true or not.
You will have to do a relearn procedure on the passlock system also, since the instrument cluster is part of that also.

The manual cluster will go into your automatic car, you just won't have the PRND21 indicator. What year is the cluster you want from? Some 95-99 clusters have different indicator lights on the wings, so you might want to check that. It should function correctly regardless, but you may not have all of the correct lights. Of the top of my head, I can't remember which ones changed, but there are 3 different versions, IIRC.

I have a 99 cavalier with digital odometer, but never mind if it's mechanical, i will advance slowly to 2000xx kilometer

ok, i have 2 manual cluster pulled out from 1997 cavalier, but I have a problem, the fuel level don't work, it read full and my tank is at 1/4, how can i solve this problem ?

ive got 2 clusters off of 00 one with tach one with no tach. both of them work, everything works. ill sell to you

you can't sell me a 00+ cluster, because I have an 99 cavalier, I don't have the bcm, thanks

Did you do the relearn progress!!! I have a 96 cavalier and i took a 97 or maybe a 99 eithier way i took one out of a z24 and everything worked i just have to ignore the fact that my car is PRND21 and the cluster is PRND321

yes i do, I wait 12 minutes and I turn switch off for 30 sec and start the car, I just do it 1 time ^^ fully fontionnal but, the fuel lever is not working

in my cav i had a 95 5speed cluster with no tach and swapped it with a 9? Auto with tach. What i did was got some apc white faces for a 5speed and before i put them on i covered up the lights i didnt need like the low trac and prnd21 and a couple others by cutting out squares of black tape and pushing them down into the holes over the leds. It works good cuz all the important ones like check engine low oil low coolant and that are in the same spots on both clusters. And i didnt need to do anything with a theft system. But the cluster went into a 95 base sedan so im sure that had something to do with it. Now that i dont have that car.... Could i use that cluster in my 98 sunfire? the sunfire has a digi odo but my cluster has a mecanical... Im not sure if it will work or not, i was just going to put it in and try it but if someone can tell me if it will or not.... The car is a 98 sunfire 5speed base and cluster is a 9? Cavalier auto with non digital odometer.

you can't in a 2000+ J's change light,

The only place who can do that is blackcatcustom

you do NOT wanna do it to the 2000+ clusters. they're LED's already, but sodered directly onto the circuit board.

Only do it if u have A LOT of time on your hands...
