what do u mean by console? i have a 97 dash top on my 04. it all bolted up

Center Console, where the gear shift comes through, e brake, cup holders..
5 speed or auto....im not sure on this one...
You will also need the metal bracket in front of the shifter, but you can swap the console over.

Metal bracket..Would this be with the 00 or do I have it on my 95 already?

The shape on the 00+ is slightly different, so while the one in your car currently will work, it puts extra stress on the console.

The 2000+ center console DOES fit in the 95-99 j-body. I know...I did it! I ended up grinding the front bracket off of an AUTOMATIC shifter assembly and with a minor tweak (ie pair of pliers) all the bolts line up. All the rest of the bolts line directly up with no issues. If you need, I can take a few pics of the conversion for reference.
