got mine on ebay.... works great.
If you have some back ground in fabrication and don't mind putting some time in to it, its not that hard to make a short throw . for the most part you just have to extend your shifter below the nob where it hinges. you can do this by cutting it off and welding a small piece of pipe on to it to bring it down, then it your so inclined you can cut your shifter so your shifter nob sits lower. depending on how far you extend on the bottom of the shifter you may have to block up the metal outfit that holds it on the floor so that the cables have room to move freely. im not sure if this is street legal, but i use it on the track and it works great.
not sure if this is common knowledge or not but the cobalt short throw shifters also fit our cars

I used to have more pictures, but if you can weld then a short shifter will cost you nothing unless you gotta pay for the one inch of drill rod or cold roll used to extend the shifter. Will also be a shorter shift than what you'd buy. All you have to lengthen is part of the shifter below the ball, but lengthening the arm will make the left to right closer on the shifter as well. Had to shim the shifter up 1/2" to keep from hitting the floorboard.
