Is the blower motor the same for all cavs and sunfires? I have an 03 with a bad blower motor (screaches when on and smells like burnt wire coming from heat.

I would assume that they are the same...Please tell if you come up with a solution for taking the "rivets" out, in order, to get the motor out? I could not figure it out when changing my resistor.....My car is an '04, so I would assume that 03-05 are the same as far as the installation of the blower motor (being held in with rivets)?
i was told u need to drill them out and then put bolts in place of the rivets..

You just drill them out like above, an youll see extra holes for bolts besides where the rivets went. I changed my 03 this summer when the blower shattered to pieces.
