HVAC fan / blower no low speed

I've got a 98 Z24 convertible

When the fan is on the first or second position there is no (ZERO) air movement. When the fan is on the 3rd or 4th position it works fine.

Any ideas?

Is it a switch, relay, or blower problem?

What's the easiest way to diagnose it?

Thanks!

Its the blower resister that needs to be changed out. its under the dash on the passenger side and is only $35 bucks for the part i think at Auto Zone.

The Fan/Blower sticky is in the Maintenance forum and you probably searched the Interior forum (this one). It takes time to see and learn where some things are stored, so I've found it best to choose "Advanced Search" options and select "all forums" from the drop down. There's also a ton of stuff in the various FAQ's. Take care. - Mark
