BTW: This is my Sig.
Mine makes a squeeking noise there is three options I looked at going with...
1. by pass the pulley with a smaller belt (used for cars with no a/c and mine will be a show car no driving it)
2. Purchase another compressor and install it
3. Purchase an engine driven air compressor.
Right now the logical thing is to do #1 since I do not drive the car and already have a compressor however if one comes across the forums again for a decent price I may go with option 3.

i forget the name of the part but if its squeaks you can replace it without pulling the compressor you need a special tool to remove it.
this will save you from the drain of the refrigerant and the refill

Wow, that's news to me. See if you can gather more information about this mystery part.

BaggedOn, Matt is probably talking about the compressor clutch. You can remove the clutch just like you can remove the pulley.

RIP Specks
Replacing the AC clutch without removing the compressor was something that I was told would not be worth it, as It needs to be taken off the car before it can be replaced. If this is a show car, do an AC delete. Its a common problem with Delco A/C, I'm on my 4th.
