Is there any way to look under the hood or somewhere in the car to find out if the car should have keyless entry? I have a Z24 that I am thinking should have keyless entry because I don't have a trunk popper inside the car and there are wires hooked up to a silenoid looking device on the inside of the trunk keylock.
I don't know about the '00, but on the '99 and earlier, the remote module is a black box in the trunk on or above the left rear wheel well (drivers side). So much changed for '00 that it might be different on your car. (I remember yours is an '00 convertible.) In any case, I'm betting it was standard on the Z24 convertibles, as it was on the '99's.
Stick your head under the steering wheel and look up to where the fuse box is there should be a black box in a white holder with three sets of wires on three different clips (one brown, one purple, one blue). it should have a white label that has a bar code and it should read BCM / RFA. If it says that (BCM / RFA) then you do have keyless and need to get some remotes and have the stealership program them for you. If it only reads BCM then you don't have keyless, but you should have keyless because it is a Z24 after all.
