Does anybody know how to take a shift knob off a 1998 sunfire. I've had people tell me that it is glued on but not for shur, cuz they had cav's. Any suggestions.
There is a clip in a slot in the front of the shifter. You need a small screwdriver to pry it out with.
to pry the clip out. well if i do that will it just slip off.
Pull straight up on the shift knob after removing the clip and the shift knob will come right off.
