How to make GREDDY/TRUST shift knob fit?

I have a Manual 2003 Cavalier LS Sport. I really want this shift knob, GReddy/Trust Duracon Super-light:

I'll do a black leather boot with red double-stitching and use the red-capped shift pattern sticker...Blah.
Anyway, think it'll fit? Only made for Toyota, Subaru, Nissan, and Mazda applications. No universal Duracon knobs available.
Would the Toyota app fit best since Toyota produced a Cavalier?

#1. link failure
#2. if you really want a different knob, why don't you just get a short throw? I'm pretty sure your options would open up with one of those as they all use the same knobs for the most part.

Lols.

The original owner put in a short shifter (one of those eBay shifters with the shift knob forged in the metal...all one piece), so I guess your idea is the way to go! Thanks!

No, they didn't. Chevrolet made the cavalier and put toyota badges on it.

The short-throw shifter is terrible anyway. It's a really rough transition into every gear. I'd rather have a quality one. Two birds with one stone, I guess. I just thought there'd be a way to modify the knob.
