The anoying door chime - Cut it perm.?

I was wondering if I take out the activation switch in the door jam, is it possible to either complete or cut the circuit in the switch permanently? So the chime will never turn on when the door is open. Then I could reinstall the switch. Ive heard of people crazy glueing it down but thats half ass and ghetto to me. So I'd rather do that instead.

Working on obtainting an M-Class license... ?? Hint: 2 wheels.

If you are talking about the 2001 in your reg, replace the stereo with an aftermarket one and don't get the chime module. Problem solved

get a new radio is the simplest way.

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

Get all the parts you need in a pile, and drive the car into it.
They will find their way into the correct places.

locate the speaker in the dash and chuck it in a river.

If I can't be my own... I'd feel better dead.

Doesnt this also control the dome light, or do the newer ones have that in the latch itself?

Pin B6 (the Dk blue wire) on the BCM is the low beam signal, comes from pin C on the switch... I'd start at the switch. Probably relay it from the wiper fuse.
