I have a couple ideas on were to put neon tubes, but before i go and put them in I'd like to see some of the places someone else would put them. So give me some ideas on were you would put them at. Im going to have up to 4 to 6 neons what ever size. So bring on the ideas.
Anywhere the will fit. The best place it under the dash and/or under the seats. Location is completely dependent on size.
If you really want to lite things up there are different items that can be used and many, many more locations.
I think having one in the trunk of the car might look good (of course u would need to open the trunk from time to time lol at mmm at night...

put them under your dash and put some small ones under your seats then get a system have a couple lighting up your system.

1998 Cavalier Base- Good ideas. I was thinking about putting a 6inch neon in my 3rd brake light. What i was going to do is take the red brake lence out and replace it with a clear lence, then take the 2 bulbs out and put the neon in.But im not shore if i want to the neon to light up when i hite the brakes or not. Or maybe a strobe light. The only thing is the cops,well thats what all my friends say. The way i see it (@!#$ it).
well i got 15 inchers under the dash with 2 more in the trunk lites up the hole car i used leds tho i hid them so u dont see individual lighgts so its brighter than the street glow pakage
Id say use LEDs. Use alot less energy then neons and can even been integrated to function with your dimmer switch.
I don't think your idea for putting neon in the brake light will work the way you want it to. I have known many people to try things like this and not be able to get it too work successfully.
Honestly though, any where you want to put lights you can, but ou will have to use something other than neon to fit in small places.

there is where I put mine. right beside the seat. actually helps me see at night better cause my eyes arn't as stressed.
