I am changing my interior to Black from Charcoal. I have been to the Junk Yard, there are no Black Steering Wheels out there, plus all airbags are blown. What are my options? I thought about dying/painting, but I think it would rub off on my hands? I would like to keep the airbag too
dont paint it...it'll look good for a while but eventually will start to wear off, no matter how much you clear coat it too.
Dye it several times. Yes it might come out on your hands for a while, but black won't fade.
FYI, the airbags are interchangable if you can find a way to color it. You don't steer with the airbag. Do you still have the steering wheel?
i have a few steering wheels laying around if youre interested.
