Can the manual sunroof be completely opened? Or can you only elevate it like in the picture?
Thank you!
BTW I love your car, its almost like mine, I got a white sunfire, you got great taste!
Anyone driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac...
I know mine can only be popped up, but it's easy to actually remove the glass...

Thanks a bunch.
It has two height adjustments, low and high. In these pics its set to the low position. The high position opens it up 60 degrees and the low is 30 degrees. Currently I have no pics of it all the way open, sorry. Here is a VERY old pic from far off of the low setting...
Also, I love having a sunroof now. It definitely has it's benefits
250 is not to bad a price. i assume you had to to find the glass or whereever you took it just did it all? any ideas on what kinda shops do this kind of install?

I went to a glass shop and they did all the work. I brought them nothing but money.
i looked into getting a full power sun roof, and i was looking 700+ installed, depending on which model n such i went with. i am still thinking of talking to my body man and having this done when i get all the body work done, but the idea of a stereo shop chopping my roof apart is a very scary one...

If you got they money, go ahead and get a power one. It should be pretty cool. Also, a stereo shop dealing with a sunroof sounds kinda iffy, lol.
all aftermarket sunroofs will eventually leak the reason stock doesnt is inside of the sunroof is a built in drain that runs a thin hose under the car usually behind the fender
Heres a good ?? i got the head liner, sunroof, drains and all that out of a 2000 cavalier. How hard would it be to put this into my 99 sunfire? Is there any mounting holes on non sunroofs where the sunroof would mount to go off of?
I have a sunroof from an 2003 cavalier. there is no glass but It's yours for $50 bucks plus shipping. Let me know if your interested.
It has all wires and switches.
