yes and no
itll fit, length- and width-wise, but the dome light placement is different in them. in the sunroof versions its almost in the back seat (it was on my buddy's 99z anyway) whereas on my 97z the dome light was a good 6-8" closer to the windshield.
you are correct^^ and i think its the same from 95-05...just recover it, either way you need the sunroof piece to be recovered to match anyway.

i don't have a working dome light... so the removal of the dome light in the non-sunroof version isn't a big deal if trimming for the sunroof will work...
if you still need an interior light... go get a convertible jbody rear view mirror with the built in reading lights.
