My friends car is a 96 and wants to swap to a 00+ dash. Is there anything special we need to know before tackling this? Anything special about the steering wheel while removing it? Any help before we go out and do this would be of a lot of help.

Also, he has no tilt. Has anyone swapped steering columns? It seems like a lot of work when I was looking at everything.

your going to either need to cut the center support bar out of the dash frame brace in order to get the radio to slide all the way back into the dash OR your going to need to get the 00+ dash frame.

Skunk swapped his column in the 01.

you need the entire dash frame assembly to do it correctly


and the steering column swap is pretty straight forward, its not as hard as it looks
