Looks very half assed. Everything that is black should have been left tan. You could have tried to pick a color that actually looks good with tan. Next time go more in depth with disassembling the interior to paint, like removing the cig. lighter and dimmer switch.

and wait to re-assemble till the paint had time to set. to avoid the nice gashes in the bezel from re-install.

You ask for our opinions and when we truthfully give you ours you get all butt hurt. lol. Im not going to sugar coat what i say.

Your 20 and have 2 kids and by looking at your feeble attempt at painting its obvious that you have made alot of bad choices in your life.

Yes its your ride and you can do whatever you choose to do to it, but dont expect to get high praises for half assing everything when ALOT of us on this site have put countless hours into our projects. I personally spent a whole month making my bezel and its still not perfect.

Dont be a fool, wrap your tool.

tinkles settle down. don't ride the dude because the fact he's younger and has kids. hell my mom was 15 going on 16 when she had me and i think she was and is still one hell of a mother. age has no factor on when or how your kids come out.

OP-- it looks like you did rattle can it and that does not make for the best quality job. thats why your getting the responses that you got. primer, base, clear painting will help in the quality of looks. but you must make sure you have proper prep. you might want to look in to how to paint a car. its the same princaples for painting plastic just a different primer. for the vinal its best to get a good dye so it doesn't peel later on. also on the color white with no clear collects dirt very easily. trust me on this i talk of experence and i'm trying to help. link to help also a sticky at the top of page. some do have very helpful info.

not bad for a frist start. some advise for later when u do the bezal the dimmer simply pops out. when u do the console flip it up side down and up bolt the top with 7 screws this way itll save u from having the blow thrus like is already there. why did u remove the vent directors outta the center vents?? any way keep at it sure itll look great when finished

Good start. Just take some of the good advice that has been given, and ignore the negative, personal comments. You have to have a thick skin on these boards, especially when you ask for people's C&C's. I am currently doing mine as well, and prep time sux, but it pays off when you are getting down to the final stages. I take it that the car is probably your DD as well, so that makes it hard to just pull everything out, and take your time with it. But hang in there, and keep going.

You need to slow down & take your time. Paint needs time to cure before it is touched.

take more time on painting and dont half ass the bezel it takes a long time to get that perfect i have been working on my bezel for like 6 months thats including fiberglass and paint. i only work on it on the weekends. but just take the time to make it perfect and make sure you give it time to dry in between coats.
