I have a 2000 base cavi, was wondering if it is possible and if so how hard would it be to put a/c in the car, I know that the hvac would need to be replaced with one that has the a/c button but not sure what else is involved? any info would be great

this is not a job for an novice. this involves the use of freon, a new pump on the engine, condensor, and it MAY require drilling into your firewall if the holes aren't there, although they might be there so i dont know. you would need to completely disassemble the dash in order to access the heatercore, vents, ect. i worked at a car dealership and have had to do this 2 or 3 times. its not easy, its not fun, an is far from DIY unless your really ambitious. take it to a shop and have it done. a little costly, but you debate if its worth it. IMO you dont need it. thats why your windows go down lol

Get all the parts you need in a pile, and drive the car into it.
They will find their way into the correct places.
