Airbag light/ passenger airbag with aftermarket wheel

So I have been looking around to see how you can still have the passenger side airbag work even with my NRG wheel...I read a post that someone said you could put a 2.2 ohm resistor across the airbag wires which shows a resistive load to the airbag module therefore causes the passenger side airbag to still work and it doesn't trip the airbag light...anyone have conformation that this works, and where to get a resistor that works...not sure if there would be one a radio shack or what, might be able to get one at a hardware store or something...any help would be appreciated.

Its actually not rigging anything...its a very simple effective procedure...all the resistor does is show the airbag module that there is a resistance and therefore thinks everything is still factory...no airbag light and the passenger side will still work...when the airbag light is on the passenger airbag will not work...its a great way to get rid of the light if you don't like it showing up all the time...some guys just leave it on and are not bothered by it...and I am getting a mechanic to install everything for me.
