So from what I have read online the bezzel dose not come off the cluster. So what you think about taking the cluster to a vinal shop and laying a piece over it and cutting it to fit. Does any of this make since???? And is there any danger from taking the dash apart i mean with the airbags going off?

if your talking about the radio bezel then yes it does come off the cluster. you need to remove the top dash pad then the bezel.

yes it dose come off your gonna need 7mm and a phillips head drive, go to twn have fun and you don't have to worry about the air bags i have driven while my dash pad was off but if yo wanna be safe turn the car off disconnect the batt (8mm) wait 30 mins then go to town. when u get the pad an the bolts from the bezel off start at he bottom be hvac and pull *SLOWLY it'll come out of it's mounting tabs just follow it aound till it's all unclipped.

from what i understand, the guy has a 2003 cav...and from what i know....the cluster plastic that covers the gauges and the "bezel" that surrounds the gauges are all one piece.
seems to me like he wants to change the color of it maybe?
but..you can always cut it off and reglue it once you have what youre goin for?
am i close?
