So I sanded my besel smooth, primed and sanded, primed and sanded, etc. until I had a smooth surface to work on. Then I sprayed textured "GM Charcoal" paint over top and it looks great.
My question is, can I put clear coat over this textured paint? It's not dramatically textured, similar to maybe 250grit sandpaper or so. Can I get away with that without any problems? I don't want to ruin the way it looks now but I want to protect it and I'm also putting some vinyl icons on that I want to cover in clear as well.
a clearcoat is going to shine, you want something that'll leave the matte finish.
