That little vent in the trunk? What do you use to seal it? I have tried alliminum tape, i tried spray adhesive and 1/4" rubber and the bass just rattles/blows it back open. What do you use because it is always leaking.

Umm i used a piece of a ice cream lid and some window urethane...then i urethaned it in..no leaking going on there..

no, he means real cement, he just left out that he uses a dead hooker as the patch, the cement's just an adhesive.

sorry to thread jack but does this vent really need to breathe well, i plan on making a fibergalss box for a single 12 to go behind the tailights and just want to know if i can build it right over this vent or if i need to leave some room, thank you
you don't need it. I think all it does is let out air pressure if you slam the trunk lid shut.
