'95Z Cluster in a '98?

Would a cluster out a of '95 Z24 work on my '98 Cav?

SpeedRacerZ states in a couple of threads that 95-99 are all interchangable but then another user mentioned in one thread that '95 might not work since it does not have Theftlock.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Nope. The 95's don't have the Passkey II system. You can do the reverse, but a 95 cluster will only work in a 95 car.
