Does anyone know if the mileage is stored in the cluster or is it stored in the BCM? I may need a new BCM and was thinking of installing it myself but if I can get one on EBay that's got the same options as I do I don't want to get one that will display more miles than I have on the car and I'm trying to get around having to pay the dealer hundreds to install and program it if I can do it cheaper.
The mileage is stored in the BCM with the digital odometers.

close. on the cars in 98 and 99 with digital odometers, its still stored in the cluster. 00+ is stored in the bcm.

Well i def knew about the 00+ cuz of the whole discussion in the black cats thread, but i havent done anything with the 98,99 clusters. So that was just an assumtion.
