after looking at it. i don't have that plastic round black thing.

that plastic round thing is what you needto hold it in. its a plastic push pin like the ones holding the back dash carpet down behind the seat, only its about 2 inches longer. dont know the part number for it though. maybe the stealership has one.

Looks like its supposed to clip in there the hood release latch is supposed to be. You may need the molding where the toyo cav's latch is, so you can clip it in there. Or get creative with what you have.
Why do you need to mount that to the car anyways? Is it supposed to be mounted to the car? I thought you use it once and that's it
