i have replaced a heater core in the past in a 95 sunfire and when doing so below the heatcore catch pan and near the floor vents there was some sort of computer, my 99 Zed doesn't have this what is this computer and why is it not there on my Zed is it somewhere else

PS i bought a car with a blown motor so really i have no idea what runs and what doesn't on this car am i gonna need to get that too.

Probably not a difference between cav and fire, but more of a difference between the year models.
