ok guys im trying to reinstall airbags into my 2002 cavalier. i need to know the part # on a 2002 caalier module. i found the wires under the carpet... also i need to know if anyone has a writeup or pictures on how to reinstall the clockspring... i tried to reinstall the clockspring today but its not working very well.. im not sure if im missing something or what...

From what I found, as long as you didn't snap the weak tabs of the yellow piece, you should be ok. Just make sure it's properly oriented, but it's mainly hit-or-miss to get the alignment bang on if you didn't marker the direction like you should have before you started.

Once you get the "feel" it goes in like a glove.

Best advice I have for you is to go to a wrecker's and buy one from a blown-airbag wheel. That yellow disk will cost you an arm and a leg through GM.

well when i put the clockspring on the wiring coming out the back hits the plate thats behind it?? anyone have a write up??
