02 cav power window goes down slowwwww

I did some searching and found some good info.

Just want to see if there is a good lube to use for the issue?wd 40, white greese, dry graphite?, Pb blaster?. What parts should i make sure i lube up the most? any pictures would be helpful.

Would lubing it up help even or am would i be wasteing my time.?

Sure its not your motor that needs replacing?

i am thinking so(hopeing not) it is the motor. Just asking if the slow condition is a sign the motor is bad, or is there something i can lube up.

if your going to be taking off your door panel might just as well replace the motor.... (not that it's hard to take off your door panel... but your motor is what's causing the problem)

Both my windows go up/down slow, and I just had the motors replaced. My girlfriends '89 Chrysler New Yorker has windows that FLY by mine. what gives?


Big plans for the '04 Fire.

All I need are is Time (sigh...)Money(sigh...)Know-how (workin on it!)

had same issue and i cleaned all my tracks and gears and used grease on the motor in the track and arms helped out the movement and its a little quicker now.

ya i will give a try at what you did ^ and then go from there.(when it warms up outside/no more snow)
