Hey all, just joined the site today finally, I've been visiting here for probably 2 years now! Anyway, I own a detail shop, and over the winter I am doing a fair bit of work to my 02 sunfire. Interior/exterior/engine etc. to make it a means of representing my business at the car shows this summer. Long story short, I'm in the early stages of gutting the interior, I've unbolted the console and lifted it out of its positon. I can not get the accesory outlet thats on the lower right of the console to pop out. Any tips on how to do this? I figured I better ask because I'm a pro at breaking stuff, but I'd rather not do that with this thing!

on the inside there should be 2 little puch clips holding it in. they are on the sides of the actual outlet assembly and have to be pushed in so you can push the socket out of the hole in the console.

if that makes sense

its a PITA to do.......so otherwise just break the little tabs off, and glue it back into place later
