ok i did a search but didn't come to a conclusive enough answer.. i'm swapping my door panels to 2 door sunfire door panels with the monsoon stereo..
problem #1 the panels hit the dash.
so what all do i have to get from a sunfire in the junkyard to make them work? thanks.
I did the swap
you need the entire dash assembly.... the gauge cluster.... and the big metal frame underneath the dash assembly
and i will warn you...... the cluster isnt plug and play...... you need the plug from the sunfire harness that connects to the cluster... and then a good bit of cutting and splicing

ok well i have the dash in and cluster wired up. everything works but the dash and lights and temp cluster under the radio also doesn't light up. any ideas?
Sounds like it could be a bad dimmer switch or a blown fuse.
checked both the dimmer switch and fuses. could there be a problem with the cluster swap?
