Hope this is the right forum to post my question.I have a 98 z24. And I want to put an amplifier in my trunk. However I scared that Imight drill into something that I shouldn't have. So my question is what is under our trunkspace, and would I be in danger of drilling into a gas tank or anything important?
Gas tank is forward(towards the front of the car) from the rear axle.
Why wouldn't you just crawl under the car and look tho?

Tank is in the rear,your fine to drill and put your amp in the back

my question is y u would want to drillintop your floor pan y not mount it to the back of the rear seat or u could mount it on your spare tire well cover just so your not drilling into the body.
Actually my amps are on the back seat right now. I cant fit the md2d on the back seat so I want to put it in the trunk somewhere. And the spare tire cover is where teh box is sitting so thats no option.
