how hard is it to do? i wanna tint my windows but i dont wanna pay some1 to do it, i wanna try it my self, and just do my 2 small windows in back, then if it looks good do my two passenger windows, no need to do the back due to the fact its a convertible
pretty easy id say ive done it to many cars. just use a lint free rag before and keep things clean this way no dust in the tint. u can pick up a diy kit at any auto parts store or walmart. just take ur time and work all bubbles out and also try not to bend, crease, or krinkle the tint ull nvr get that stuff fixed.
is it reliable?? or will it fade? I am thinking about doing this but i would do my rear window too.. somehow.

takes lots of practice. more trial and error than anything. took me a lot of patience and time to get it down and now i tint windows professionally as my side job

pretty the tint i used had diff ratings like good, better, best all had diff resitance to the sun but none the less it is exposed to the sun alot and is pron to fade i had mine on for 4 years and it just started to fade it went from black to a very deep purple yet is is 4 yrs old and still cant tell whos inthere lol. that was the better kit the best lasted on my exs for 4 years now and still black but that has a semi mirror look to it.
where do you get it? i hate the purple crap. and will i be able to remove it after from the rear?

walmart/ auto zone, pepboys, advance auto, yes u will be able to remove after as long as it dont bubble really bad down the road that just makes it harded. the even have a kit to assit with removal. ive used gila they also make colored tint(red.yellow, blue, green, etc)also the brand found at walmart ive used alot of on friends car.
Ok i have done a some cars to and i'm only 17! hears the deal if you don't have a shop to do it in don't do it!!!!!!!!! As for the BACK window if your goin to try it you will need alot of time and an heat gun because you will need to stretch the tint to fit the back window. And seeing that its your first time try to find somebody that has done it before that can help you throw it you will learn ALOT just from watching. Go to
http://youtube.com/ and type in window tinting and watch this videos on there if your goin to try it! i love the fact that your going to try it your self thats bad ass. So anyways i have looked into precut tint that you can buy on the internet and i have found a site that would help out alot seeing that its your first time it's
http://windowtint.com/ go to the automotive part and you can get an example of what its going to look like. There shouldn't be any cutting or shaping that would need to be done if you were tinting it your self. Now i will tell you i have never used them before so i don't know much about them butt i'm goin to probably use them when i get the money because i got the purple @!#$ on my cavalier and i don't like colored window tint at all! Good look and let me know it you use that website!!
O as for the walmart and other brands out there they suck because if you watch a professional do it the tint just lays nicely and walmart tint and that other brands don't and like 515Cavy said it takes practice and alot of it
i'd pay 2 get it done! lifetime warrenty goes a long way!
