im looking into getting an aftermarket steering wheel for my 96 z24 but ran into one problem how will i get through a NYS inspection missing one of my air bags ?? if anyof you out there have tricks to maybe re wire the airbag sensor so it thinks it's still there or any tricks on how to get past the inspection plz reveal it thank you guys
hey Jeff, I've gone thru NY inspections with no problems.
They cant fail you for an airbag light....you have to have 2 lights on in order for them to fail you. So if your airbag light is the only one on, you should be ok. but try going to little mom and pop shops for an inspection....they're less likely to know/care
