okay, i've already tried ordering a B & M short shifter through two different websites and ebay as well. no luck, i've received my money back each time. They just tell me a week later with, "we don't carry it anymore because it has been discontinued". okay, i understand it has been discontinued but don't advertise you sell it if you really don't. please.
carcustoms.net shows they sell it for the 95-99. is this true? i really want this thing already.
anyone know of somewhere i CAN get it? help please.

Get it used! I did, it will work great, and you can get it already put together which is a major plus. I have seen them for 80 bucks. Thats what i paid for mine.

so can the 00-05 short shifter work with the 95-99 transmissions and cables and such with little or no mods, has anyone ever tried?
No I don't think it can. I'm swapping trannies soon and was told that I CANNOT use my stock 97 shifter, or cables. I have to change to 2000+ shifter assembly and shift cables/linkage.
