uhh, i think it's spelled suede? it's weird. I just bought this car and it has this funny snakeskin/suede (fake leather) pattern. The problem is that it is all faded and in one part of the dash it is beginning to peel up. So should I try to paint it? i mean can I do anything with it? Should I fiberglass, although that would be a lot of $... help plz!! (ANY help is really appreciated)

anyone that would be able to help you out would probably be grateful for a few pics, unfortunately I am not the one to be giving out the advice as there are much better people with heads for this stuff

best thing to do would be to pull it out and rewrap it with new suede. cheaper suede will fade quickly if its left outdoors in the sun.

yeah, there isn't anyway to save it huh?? could I just get someone to fiberglass over the top of it or would the fiberglass not stick to the suede?

you could get someone to glass over it, but it would prolly be easier to remove it to glass over....in which case it would then be easier to re-wrap if removing the fabric.

hmmm thats ronins car. guess he finally sold it. hopefully you take care of it.

i see a few spots on it with some pretty shotty body work....like the fenders/qp's and where the skirts are molded.

but not a bad price for what comes with it

yeah if you wanted to fiberglass it i would remove the suede.

i dunno man, do you know who did the body work? i mean how much do you know about the car? i need some info and "ronin" is ignoring me i think... I need to know if the pistons and such are stock as well as if those fenders are part of a kit or what? If you can tell me some things about i would really appreciate it!
