The box it came in.
Removed but wrapped in plastic.
Unwrapped from plastic.
Nifty windshield cover included.
Awesome looking product. Texture seems VERY close to factory, the dark-grey color seems pretty close, albeit a touch lighter than the graphite interior, (camera flash makes it look lighter than what it really is) but I will likely recolor it to match. They include a good sized tube of silicone adhesive, so once you have it glued in place, you can use the rest for other things if you want. Its made of what seems to be a very durable, somewhat flexible plastic, so it should hold up to the sun rather well crack-wise.
I'll post more pics later on, probably tomorrow, before and after pics. Gotta go to work in a little bit, so no time to do that right now.

I JUST walked in from doing a dry test-fit, I will probably end up removing the stock dash to do the final install, as the lower edge of the cover seems to be a VERY tight fit between the stock dash and the stock dash-pad, and it won't slide between the two very easily. I don't have time right now to do it, so I may do it at o-dark-hundred tonight when I get home from work. Otherwise, I'll just do it when I get to work tomorrow, and let the glue dry while I slave away working.
Well, I was looking closer at the color, the dark grey is a GOOD bit lighter than the stock graphite, so before I glue it in place I'm gonna have to find some compatible plastic paint and respray it to match, so full install pics are gonna be a bit further away then I thought, and with my working schedule, it'll probably have to wait till this weekend. But until then I'll just leave it sorta "snapped" into place to cover the ugly cracks my dash has. Sorry folks.
BTW, does anyone thats done some painting of plastic know a good match to the stock graphite that comes in a can? Thanks.
Hey Greg, don't remove the dash to put this in. You don't have to. You are right it is going to be a tight fit. It should "snap" into place. I spoke with our production manager about this and they test fit it on a couple of vehicles, and he told me that you should put in the front portion first, there is a little bit of a lip on the front of the dash cover (closest to the driver) that should go in first, then push down on the back portion of the dash cover (closest to the windshield) next. It will be tight because of the design of the original dash but does not require you to remove the original dash at all.
On these put the front lip in first then push down on the back portion to snap it into place. This dash is similar to one of the Porsche dashes that we have. On that one you have to twist the dash a little to get it in place.
Awesome Greg can't wait to see it installed, once i can get the funds saved up i will be ordering, one for the 4 door, and one for my new 2 door.
ya cant wait to see it installed , i ordered one today so should be good
Got some before pics, and some after pics (pre-install test fit).
Before pics:
windshield view of center cracks.
Drivers view of center cracks.
Passenger view of center cracks to right side of defrost vent.
Crack on passenger side in front of 'bag.
After pics:
Driver side (got some bad windshield reflection from flash, pics taken at about 12:40 am)
Center view
Passenger side view.
Can definitely tell the color difference in those pics, but these dash covers can easily be painted or dyed, and I fully intend to do that before I do the final glue down.
I had a fairly tough time getting the front edge seated down between the dash pad and the actual dash itself, but its in there now. The texture is nearly a spot-on match for the factory texture too. The ends that are between the door panels and the dash could stand to be just a hair lower to cover that whole piece, I'll try to get a pic of that later on to show what I mean, but then, you rarely see that anyway, so its not a problem at all. This is one well made product. All you Cavalier owners with dash crack problems, if you don't want to go through the hassle of finding a junkyard dash thats uncracked, or the expense of a new one from GM, not to mention the time and labor to remove/install it, this is the product to get.

Looking good Greg! I hope i get one soon, im getting mine in black hopefully, but may paint it metallic black to match my dash bezel. Who knows....
Thats the dark grey correct?
Just wanted to give you guys a little insider info. The dash is on the web page it is located under domestic dash covers, chevy/gmc on the 4th page. You can call us direct and order and it will save you the 8.00 handling charge. I don't know why they charge it but they do. Just wanted to let you guys know that you can save a little money if you call us direct. 800-633-7090
That looks great.
I intend to place my car in a show late next month, but with my dash's recent super-crackage, i was convinced the show would be a no-go. After looking at this, I'm sure I will have my own dash repaired in time.
Before I put it in, I intend (and I suggest anyone else do the same) to drill a tiny hole at the very end of each crack that has not made it all the way to the side. The small hole will give the exsisting crack room to expand and contract with the temp. without cracking any further. It just lets the crack that is there open and close a millimeter or two.
thats the dark gray color? l really like it, it looks like it would match the silver color i painted my dash and A pillars almost perfectly

No we accidentally sent the wrong color to Greg. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen. The color that he has is the grey (GR) that we offer. I apologize for the confusion on that. We try real hard for that not to happen but it does. The dark grey (DGR) that we offer is closer to a charcoal grey than the silver in the above pics.

An example of a hell of a good, quality, stand up to their product company. I got a call from Chris today (was at work, couldn't take the call at that moment), and he left me a message that essentially said he was gonna send me the dark gray cover ASAP. That isn't something I see all that often, so props to Chris and the whole Coverlay crew.

x2 it would make fiberglassing dashboards so much easier.
Best interior paint!
I use SEM for everything, graphite is what you're looking for of course.
My triple pod is painted with such and you'd never know.
